An updated version of my 2017 painting "Christ in Tulips". Warm, inviting color palette with a field of poppy anenomes — symbolic of peace and renewal. The poppy anenome is a common wildflower near the Mount of Olives, the flower that it thought to be the "lillies of the field" referred to in Matthew 6:28.
